Multiple Sclerosis Fundraising Night
Jim Etherington (a local legend) and the My Generation ’79 (a popular dancing and singalong hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s) will be featuring on the big stage. There will be fireworks, stalls and fairground rides for the family.
Starting from 6:30pm
We’ll get the fun started with the RNLI Duck Race & Raft Race. To take part please click the link below. We will then make way to Where’s Clive at 8pm! Wareham’s own popular band. Closely followed by KMK at 9.30pm, a fantastic tribute band covering the Kaiser Chiefs, Artic Monkeys, Kings of Leon and the Killers. Again, expect plenty to do with stalls, fairground rides, BBQ, Beer & Cider Tent. Did we mention fireworks too? Let’s get in that river…
Time to dance!
For our 2nd Wednesday we have a Kids Dancing Competition! Time to jiggle and show those moves with prizes to be won! We obviously encourage Mums and Dads to join in too! Just don’t embarrass the kids too much 😉 To follow, we have an amazing music lineup with the Prairie Dogs at 8pm and the Stereoironics (Tribute) at 9:30pm. And again, plenty of activities, food and beverages for all topped off with some fireworks.
Things start to get more vibrant with a Street Festival bursting with fun on the quay. We also have Blame it on Bill at 8pm and The Decatonics at 9:30pm joining us on the stage for some more brilliant live music. Still, stalls, food, drinks and super fun fairground rides will be there to keep the whole family going.
Pirate Invasion! Arggh!
Maybe the only time you’ll get to feel what it is like to be Jack Sparrow! Argggh! We promise a spectacular display of Pirates taking over our very own quay with a few surprises along the way. It’s certainly one NOT to miss! After an extraordinary display we will have Finnian at 7:45pm, Funkbusters at 8:30pm and Oasiss (Tribute) at 9:30pm to take us into the evening.
Tug of War!
Known for its brutal strength and competitiveness, the Tug of War comes back to Wareham Wednesdays. Start pumping iron now and working on that grip because it is the rope that shows us who means business. We then have Definitely Dorothy at 8:30pm and The Newbeats at 9:30pm taking to the stage.
MJ is back!
If you remember our amazing appearance last year from Navi, the worlds No.1 Micheal Jackson impersonator, he’s back! We have another Kids dancing competition along with Dave Griff & The Trouser Band getting up on that stage at 8pm followed by Navi at 9:30pm.
Another one for the diary here as we have an amazing Bonfire Night, accompanied by the Prairie Dogs.
